a systems designer driven to introduce "wholistic" operating systems
for professional and individual use. AND for meaningful Human-AI partnering.

for professional and individual use. AND for meaningful Human-AI partnering.
Between a Cherokee medicine woman grandmother, a Texas rancher grandfather, who taught physics, and a fundamentalist upbringing layered over fractured family dynamics, Phil learned early that real understanding requires holding multiple realities simultaneously without collapsing them into false simplicity. This multi-faceted reality became the foundation for his life's work: creating systems that value context rather than reducing complexity to linear fragments. Where others saw contradictions to resolve, Phil saw patterns to map - a fundamentally different approach to both human understanding and technology design.

Phil created a patented framework that prompts individuals, partners, corporate leaders, teams, and communities to see, think, and act within wholistic mental models.
This approach converts complex challenges into visual conversation maps that activate brain unity and supplement working memory limits—preserving context while accelerating understanding and decision-making in situations that would otherwise overwhelm linear thinking.
Over 25 years, Phil and his partner Pam tested and deployed this framework across diverse fields. Tens of thousands of end-users experienced it, and more than a thousand facilitators, counselors, coaches, and HR professionals—authenticating the modalities in everyday human scenarios before AI integration.
The framework integrates with existing AI systems as a contextual reasoning layer, creating the infrastructure for wholistic human-AI collaboration.

My intention is to inspire people to chart their own informed life journeys by connecting the actions, decisions, and hopes for change that drive their behaviors. This approach supports personal meaning-making through contextual reasoning—not prescriptive formulas—because real life unfolds in the absence of absolutes.
Phil Lawson's bold challenge
Phil and Pam Lawson are the co-founders of Spherit, an R&D company in Colorado focused on human-centered technology for contextual reasoning. While operating Spherit, they've worked with leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, and organizations across diverse fields. Their role has been to synthesize expansive information into single, comprehensible visuals that streamline complex conversations and decision-making.
