Co-Founders, Phil and Pam Lawson

Phil and Pam met at the age of 6. They married young at 18, anxious to make a difference in the world the only way they knew how, as volunteer mission workers, traveling the dusty back roads of East Texas, Alabama, and Mississippi, dedicated to a cause that spanned a decade in the Deep South, USA, paying their own way as janitors, floor cleaners and trash haulers. 

Until the day their lives took a big turn ...   

By their late-30s, they were living and working in Hollywood, traveling to other countries on business, and rubbing shoulders with creatives and intellectuals. 

Over the years they've worked in leadership roles at companies, deploying cutting edge online technologies, and they've launched their own start-ups. 

As Phil and Pam moved through religion, business, and the arts; through deprivation and privilege; through convention and eccentricity, and extreme anxiety, they began to detect common core characteristics in all human activities, no matter the box. They began to see patterns. And they wondered if the power of personal computing might one day expedite how humans heal, learn, and grow.

More importantly, they realized they had developed unconventional life skills. They could adapt, flex and respond to life's challenges, in real-time, better than anyone else they knew. But they needed scientific proof to explain what they were experiencing before anyone would take them seriously. 

So they went in search of it, in their 40s, dropping out of the business world and moving to a rustic cabin in the Colorado Rockies to study, think and write. Since then, they've spent tens of thousands of hours researching and developing the work you've read about on this website. (And they've moved on from that cabin.😉)  

Both Phil and Pam experienced significant challenges and disruptions when they were children, and also as adults. But this did not deter them. It inspired them to create a technology for everyday decision-making that makes it easier for anyone to navigate any complex situation with surprisingly effective results.
